Rosalia

Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia is the Spanish Flamenco/Pop singer. Her work has been in the margins of popular and traditional music since her teenage years, she also delves into other styles like hip-hop soul and trap. The flamenco guitar player Pepe habichuela described her voice as delicate and sharp, but still with the bite of older singers. El Mal Querer was her significant commercial breakthrough and critical success in 2018. Following the release of Los Angeles garnered her attention and a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist, it topped the Billboard charts of Latin Pop Albums and she was awarded a Grammy. In 2021, her single La Fama with The Weeknd came out. Motomami featured songwriting partnerships with numerous artists such as Cory Henry, James Blake and many others. The album was released in the month of March 2022, following an appearance of the track Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia performed solo for the first time ever on the show. Along with taking home three other Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia, she also became the first female to be awarded the Latin Album of the Year twice.
