Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. When she was five, she relocated from London to Oxfordshire to attend The Dragon School. Emma's dream was to become an actor. As a young girl of six, she joined the Oxford Stagecoach Theatre Arts branch and took lessons on singing, acting, and dance. As part of a school production and a Stagecoach production, Emma took as the lead role at age 10 and performed. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the film version of J.K. Rowling's bestselling British novel began casting in 1999. Casting agents discovered Emma through her Oxford theatre teacher. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint following auditions for 8 times. They were selected as three leads Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. Emma's first film appearance came with the release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2002). It beat all previous records on its opening and weekend ticket revenues, and was the most-recorded 2001 movie. Film critics praised the film as well as its performances by the three leading actors of the young generation. The Daily Telegraph in Britain and the Daily Telegraph in America, widely read the newspaper, described her performance as outstanding. Emma received the Young Artist Award as the Leading Young Actress for the feature Film. The actress was recognized five times in recognition of her performance in the movie.
